How is this different from buying prep supplies myself?
You don't do it. We source everything (real brands, not cheap knockoffs). We store it off-site where it doesn't take up your garage. We handle rotation and maintenance. You own it all after the final payment. That's the difference.
Where is it stored?
In climate-controlled, secure facilities in Indianapolis. Your supplies stay at a consistent temperature year-round. No humidity swings that degrade inventory. We're facility partners with established storage operators — this isn't some random warehouse.
What if I move?
Your unit is yours. You hold the lease directly with the partner facility — if you move, you manage that relationship. If you're enrolled in the optional Emergency & Relocation Credit, coordination support is available. StokdUp does not warehouse or store on your behalf after initial delivery.
Can I customize what's in my account?
Accounts are standardized by tier — Private, Reserve, or Obsidian. Customization beyond tier selection isn't available. This is intentional: your unit is sized precisely for what's included at each tier, and deviations would compromise fit and fulfillment.
What if I need to cancel?
We honor cancellations through the first payment. After that, cancellation fees apply — you've committed to sourcing and equipment fulfillment. Your storage lease is held directly with the facility; coordinate any lease changes with them. See the terms for specifics.
Is there a recurring fee?
No. The one-time account investment is split across payments — then it's yours. An optional Emergency & Relocation Credit ($1,200/year) is available if you want active coordination and emergency access benefits. No mandatory recurring charges.
Why Indianapolis first?
Indianapolis is home. It's where our founders live and where we wanted to start — with the community we know. Our mission is to extend preparedness beyond those who can afford it. For every membership, a portion funds a unit for a qualifying family, nonprofit, or community shelter — stocked and ready for the day it's needed. Recipients are approved and supported through a managed process. Community comes first.
What's the shelf life on this stuff?
Food: 25+ years. Water filters: no expiration (filters themselves are replaceable). Power systems: 10+ year lifespan. Medical kit: 5-10 years on most items. Tools and gear: indefinite if stored properly, which they are.
Do you offer financing beyond the 4 payments?
Not yet. We're working on longer-term installment options for later this year. For now, four payments is the structure.
